We are happy to take on personal commissions and a few can be seen here. A pair of RB3 chimney wing speakers was a great project for a GP fan. No commissions are too small or too large. Hey, we've even made a bespoke fishing set up using 99% F1 components.
Interesting bespoke projects under discussion:
A 300kg, 12 – 15 seater Jet fan conference table.
The tables centre piece uses the main centre hub from the Rolls-Royce RB211 that would normally house the 33 interlocking vanes seen when looking into the front of the intake cowling. The design uses the solid titanium hub to support 11 mirror polished vanes which in turn support a circular disc of glass. Around the glass is a writing surface of veneered walnut. Your board meetings would never be the same again, with eyes dropping down to admire the sculptured blades slotted into the substantial hub seen through the glass.
Wiring for computer & telephones is neatly accommodated by the hollow hub.
Garden lighting with a difference.
With blue LED garden lighting all the rage, here at Racing Gold we have an interesting alternative.
Using original, branded “PYREX” deep blue runway diffusers, our lamps give an amazing ambience to any out door space. With a slight 1970 police car lamp look, these lenses can be floor or post mounted depending on your requirements. As these are genuine runway lenses, they have a focused beam to one side allowing for a certain directional effect or gentle feature spot lighting to be achieved.
With these lenses being found deep in Asia, it is rumoured that these would have been spares for secret military landing strips.
