Carved from Sapele, this organic car sculpture represents the flow of air.

During it’s creation, the marks left from the chainsaw were left un-sanded on one side. These marks represent air flowing across the bodywork of this high nose designed car. The sculpture is simplified and flowing in its design.

In stark contrast, it is mounted & rotates on the incredibly engineered differential from the F1 car it emulates.

Designed and sculpted by John Haigh, this piece remains a favourite example of a “sketch to realisation” project undertaken by Racing Gold.
