A destroyed Aston Martin racing engine has a surprise twist.

Asked to create a table from a blown V8 engine, we wanted to design something special. Lining up the ejected piston into the glass of the table top could have been enough to make the story interesting. But we also wanted to show the beauty of the pistons & bores yet still show the underside where the damage really happened.

We mounted the engine on roller bearings supported by a mix of bespoke & F1 machined supports. With a near perfect balance, the owner can rotate the engine with a fingertip and show off the internal destruction.
